Dr Appointment – eggs- tv

This morning I had a doctor’s appointment which wasn’t very eventful.  It was my first time with this doctor and hopefully she’ll be my regular gynocologist for a while.  The first doctor that I started seeing about 3 years ago passed away recently from cancer so I switched to a different doctor but then she moved after only one or two visits.  I always get really nervous about switching gynocologists because it’s kind of a doctor you need to be comfortable with.  The one I saw today was really nice though and didn’t act rushed or anything like some other doctors can.

Then I headed home and stopped at Movie Gallery on the way.  I returned Julie and Julia (which was absolutely amazing by the way!) and rented three new movies:

Four Christmases (which Jon Alan and I watched today, it was hilarious from the very beginning!),

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3,

and
Inglourious Basterds

Now I just need to make sure I watch the other two movies before I leave for Orlando later on this week!

Only ate one thing so far today that was blog worthy (partially because it’s the only thing I took a picture of…)
BreakfastScrambled eggs with broccoli and cheese with a buttered slice of whole wheat toast

Delicious.

Desperate Housewives is baaaack!
Last nights episode… amazing.  I cried pretty much the whole time I was watching it.

Hello, my name is Samantha and I am a complete crybaby.

Now I’m watching The Secret Life of the American Teenager.  I really liked this show when it first came out but now it’s just kind of boring.

What’s coming on next has me really excited though.  Make it or break it!  I love love love that show! It makes me want to go out and start doing gymnastics again.  I did gymnastics for about two years.  Started in second grade and broke my arm the very first day… not so sure I’m cut out for that kind of stuff lol.
Some advice for anyone wanting to try gymnastics?
Try not to fall off the balance beam.

I started looking up future races!  There is an 8 miler called the Yorktown Victory Run on April 3rd that starts in Newport News and ends in Yorktown.  I’m not up for that distance right now but I’m sure I’ll be ready for it once April rolls around!  Plus, the course should be gorgeous in April (not like I actually look around while I’m running.  I have a really bad habit of just watching the ground in front of me the whole time.)

Is it just me or has this been a really random post?  I’m having a really hard time trying to decide what to title this post… it isn’t possible to just leave it blank is it? Just kidding 🙂

I think I’m going to make myself a nice medium sized bowl of frozen yogurt and get in bed to watch some tv!  (Sammi = total tv addict!)

  1. I loved this post! Glad you liked your doc, definitely someone you need to be comfortable with, hopefully this one will last longer than the others 🙂
AHH I loved for Christmases I saw it when it first came out on xmas eve with my fam!
Sounds like a fun race! Happy training! ❤ ❤

    • Thanks! I always worry that my posts are going to be super lame 😛 I wanted to see it back when it came out in theaters but never got around to it. Watching it at home allowed me to rewind though to re-watch the really funny parts! haha Now I only need to look up a training schedule!

  2. Oh…I want to see Four Christmases so badly! Glad you gave it a good review. Inglorius Basterds is really good…I can’t wait to hear what you think!

    • It was really refreshing because it’s not like all the other chick flicks out there. Reading your post on Inglorious Basterds is part of what made me rent it today actually! haha. I’ll have to make sure to write about it once I watch it!

  3. YAY EGGS AND BROC!!!!!!!!!!!! =D delicious!

  4. Four Christmases cracked me up!

And those eggs. Ahhh, those broccoli eggs of joy. What more can I say about that!?

  5. Sammi, you broke your arm the very first day of 1st grade (not second) and it was also your first day of gymnastics. I remember it like it was yesterday. 😦 Your coach put you on the high beam and didn’t spot you. Your cast was hot pink!
By the way, I love your posts!!
