Green Jello Recipe

Green Jello Recipe:

2 boxes lime jello mix
30 oz pears (drained and mashed)
8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
2 cups cool whip or whipped cream
2 cups boiling water
1 cup ice water

Mix jello and hot water until jello is dissolved.

Then add in the ice water.

After ice is melted, add in pears.

Refrigerate about 30 minutes.

Mash the cream cheese as best as you can and then add it into the mixture chunk by chunk.

Refrigerate until it is starting to set but not enough where it will break off into chunks when you stir it. Fold in the whipped cream (or cool whip).

Refrigerate until completely set and serve.

Note: This is the first time we have ever used whipped cream.  We normally use cool whip so this was a little experiement but it turned out very well!

  2. oh green jello addiction over here. gosh I haven’t had jello in ages.

    last night my JJ devoured a jello/fruit thing his dad gave him. Maybe I should make a green jello treat!

    gotta try!
