I requested to work the morning of Thanksgiving so I’m going in at 11am and will probably stop getting seated around 2-3pm when the night shift comes in. That will get me home around 4pm at the latest (depending on how long it takes me to do my sidework & when my tables leave). Dinner is going to be around 5:30pm (jessie has work too so that time is what works out for the whole family).
on the menu:
- Corn pudding
- Green bean casserole
- Green jello (nom nom nom)
- Sweet potato stuffed apples
- Best rolls ever
- Pumpkin pie (2 or 3 pies!)
I’ll be posting recipes for everything either this week or next week. Green jello will probably be featured first because it is a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Unfortunately, it isn’t exactly vegetarian/vegan friendly though it can be altered to fit those needs. (jessie made a vegetarian “green jello” before (it was red though) but it didn’t turn out exactly as we would have liked).
There are two different forms of the corn pudding. One that my dad & I like and the other one we pretty much all like (my sisters don’t like the new kind). We’re probably going to make both kinds.
Before the rain started, my dad woke me up to go running. We made it about 0.65 mile before we stopped at a porta potty to go to the bathroom.
Distance: 5.14 miles
Time: 50.17 minutes
I need to work out my abs today. Accounting class tonight 🙂
